"Jonathan is a pleasant and diligent student. He possesses the drive to get work done promptly and efficiently. He is also intelligent and readily accepts feedback on his weaknesses. He displays a strong sense of self-motivation to succeed in achieving his goals. He projects a calm and confident image and is able to deal with unexpected situations in a composed manner.

Jonathan displayed good team spirit. He was enthusiastic and dedicated as a member of the school's Symphonic Band. As a testimony to his commitment and dedication to the band, he was part of the executive committee for two years, holding the sppointment of a treasurer. In view of his leadership capabilities, he also rose steadily to become the sectional leader in 2006, and was roped in to assist in organising the annual band camp in 2005 and 2006. Over the years, he participated enthusiastically in many school and public performances. For example, the annual speech day and national day celebrations; the sentosa balloon hat festivals; the tampines street festival; and the fountain festival.

To equip himself with information technology skills required in the 21st century, he successfully completed a course on Macromedia Flash MX in 2004 and Video Editing using Sony Vegas Movie Studio in 2005. He also signed up for and successfully completed an Oral Confidence Module in 2004.

In recognition of his stellar academic performance in Science, he won the school's academic award for being the Best in Science 2005. Subsequently, he was given the opportunity to accelerate his learning of Science(Physics,Chemistry) and to sit for the 'O'Level Examination at the end of the two years.

In 2006, he successfully completed the 5-day Outdoor Discovery Course in Outward Bound Singapore. Through the course, he learnt important survival skills as well as life skills. It was a test of grit and perseverance, which he passed with flying colours.

Jonathan possesses a great sense of compassion for the less fortunate in the community, and volunteers his time, effort and resources in improving the lives of the less privileged readily. Over the years, he has volunteered his service at Golden Pines Studio Apartments for the Elderly, where his warmth and friendliness brought many smiles to the face of the residents. He also solicited for donations on behalf of the National Kidney Foundation and arranged books at the Tampines Regional Library.

His positive attitude and sense of responsibility are admirable qualities that will see him through his future studies and career."
